HORIZON heats up ARTISPHERE weekend with a special appearance by the THIRD MAN RECORDS Rolling Record Store on FRIDAY, MAY 11th! It’s the mobile store’s ONLY SC stop!

How about a side of wax with your lunch on Friday, May 11th, or some free swag while shopping for limited-edition goodies? How about a music-centric extended lunch and Happy Hour afternoon?

That’s what Horizon has in store for you avid collectors out there when Jack White’s Third Man Records brings their Rolling Record Store to our humble abode from 1-5 pm!

Third Man’s highway-loving record store on wheels is hitting the road this Spring to roughly follow the path of its creator, Jack White on his first set of tour dates supporting his new release, Boarding House Reach. In addition to limited edition vinyl and Rolling Record Store-exclusive merchandise and Jack White wares for sale, Third Man Records and YETI are giving away a Third Man YETI Roadie 20 cooler to one lucky winner at every stop along the Spring Tour!  These coolers are NOT for sale; the only way to get one is to win one.

You can stock up on other titles by Third Man’s illustrious roster, including Dwight Yoakam, Courtney Barnett, Beck, or you can simply take part in a little history: This will be the Rolling Record Store’s first-ever appearance in South Carolina, let alone the Upstate.

There will be special deals and drawings for cool stuff, too! How about, for starters, any same-day purchase receipt from Horizon will earn you a discount and some free goodies at the Third Man Rolling Record Store!

The Rolling Record Store was born in 2011, when a refitted yellow van with a killer sound system packed to the windows with vinyl goodies began it’s non-stop tour in Austin, TX at the SXSW convention. Since then, it’s shows up at all manner of festivals, concerts and indie record stores to spread the love, sometimes on just a few hours’ notice.

We’re thrilled to welcome this treasure trove on wheels right dang here to our corner on Friday, May 11th, and we can’t wait to dig through the stacks! So come on out and start your Artisphere Festival weekend right!
