1969 turned 50 last year, so HORIZON is celebrating the musical miracle that of that incredible year, with all sorts of 50th anniversary reissues, featured favorites & more!

Mr. Gene sez: Déjà vu all over again; what a concept. 1969 was a good year for a lot of amazing records we are still digging and are still selling on vinyl LP and CD so we’ve set up a swank theme display up front so you too can flash back to that halcyon year and dazzle your collection and yer ears with the goodness that was born in 1969.

You might have noticed the plethora of deluxe reissues we’ve been talking about recently, albums like LET IT BLEED by THE ROLLING STONES, ABBEY ROAD by THE BEATLES and THE BAND by, well, THE BAND. These special-edition sets all have a ton of bonus tracks, outtakes, live cuts, demos and more, and the reason we have this embarrassment of riches is because all of these albums were originally released in 1969.
