The Marcus King Band Family Reunion is back after a five-year hiatus, and this time, it’s set to go down right here in the blues giant’s home state! Offering a taste of the best the south has to offer, from music to Carolina BBQ, Marcus King has curated a two-day festival sure to bring the fun!
Ticket packages can be snagged HERE!
Speaking on his hopes for this year’s fest, the Greenville-native laments on his childhood visits to his great grandparents house “…for some front porch pickin,’ covered dishes, lots of love, and plenty of leftovers!”
These trips taught him the joy of music, and just how powerful of a force it could be to bringing people together. “[I] want to bring that same joy to you folks this year with the return of The annual Marcus King Band family reunion. We are back and bigger than ever!”
Bigger than ever, indeed, with The Avett Brothers, Band of Horses, and Sierra Ferrell joining King and Co. at the top of the bill!
The lineup will also include Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners, Nikki Lane, Darby Wilcox, Kashus Culpepper, Ethan Regan, Barret, and Britt.
All of this and so much more (Home Team BBQ, anyone?) will be going down Saturday and Sunday, August 24th-25th at the CCNB Amphitheater, in Simpsonville!
One dollar from each ticket sold will be donated to Marcus King’s Curfew Foundation, which helps those struggling to stay sober and also provides funds towards music education.
