In anticipation of their 2019 summer festival, the Chamber Music Society of the Carolinas would like to invite you to a free chamber music concert featuring pianist (and CMSC Artistic/Managing Director) INESSA ZARETSKY and the TESLA STRING QUARTET on March 16th at the Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, at 7:30pm.
This marvelous program will include a BEETHOVEN String Quartet and the FAURE C Minor Piano Quartet.
Everyone who has been to the Swannanoa Chamber Music Festival concerts in the past is familiar with the award-winning ensembles, world-class soloists, and beautiful programming that they’ve brought to the Upstate. In this, their 5th year in Greenville, the festival has changed its name, expanded their audience, and introduced a complimentary springtime concert.
The Summer concerts are moving back to the Fine Arts Center from the Carolina Music Museum and will continue on Mondays in July, but in the meantime the CMSC will tide us over with this delightful performance on March 16th.
Please join us in welcoming the Tesla String Quartet (on their way to London’s Wigmore Hall) and Inessa Zaretsky to town to celebrating the festival’s 5th year in Greenville, the 50th anniversary of the Swannanoa Chamber Music Festival, and their inaugural year as the Chamber Music Society of the Carolinas.
