Drummer extraordinaire Kevin Korschgen has created a killer jazz concert series called The Wheel Sessions at, you guessed it, The Wheel venue space in the The Village At The West End. He’s already welcomed dazzling alto-sax player (and Greenville Jazz Collective Big Band alum) Tom Wright, and the next installment will feature ace pianist Bill Gerhardt and Asheville’s Mike Holstein, who normally plays bass, moonlighting on guitar. Check the series deets below and support local jazz!

Wheel Session II gives our audience the rather rare opportunity to hear two of Asheville’s premier jazz musicians perform together on an Upstate stage. Add Robert Nance and Kevin Korschgen on bass and drums, respectively, and you are in for a special treat!
The “Wheel Sessions” is a jazz performance series hosted at the Wheel, in Greenville South Carolina’s West End Arts District. Performances begin at 7:30pm, and are held in front of an intimate listening audience. There is a $10 entrance fee, which includes complementary beverage and two sets of music. All proceeds go to the artists. Attendees may also BYOB. To reserve a seat, phone or text (312) 520-2760
